The only cleaning media I would ever use to clean a shower with while actually taking a shower are lemons and baking soda. I had a roommate that once decided to clean his shower with an ammonia or similar volatile-based cleaner, and that didn't go over too well. Comet shouldn't be too bad, but it's something I'd like to avoid intimate skin contact with.
